Semifinal ESP vs.GER on wednesday July 7th (international)

Hey,
we'd like all international members (Spains, Germans, and all others) to discuss one of the biggest games of the 2010 World Cup in this thread.

Please discuss with each other and don't insult each other. Of course all Internationals, opinons and reactions are desired.

- if possible write in English because most members will understand you
- don't just "scream" a single word like "Deutschland", "Espana" or something else
-> we'd like your idea of the game and want to discuss it
- be fair to each other
- no racism

hemos creado un post donde todos los miembros (españoles, alemanes, y demás) tienen la posibilidad de discutir sobre uno de los más grandes partidos del mundial de 2010!

Por favor, nos gustaría una discusión sin insultos. Claro, todas las opiniones y reacciones son interesantes.

- Si posible, escriba en ingles para que todos entiendan
- no “grites” simplemente palabras como “Deutschland", "España" o algo así.
- Nos gustaría saber tu opinión sobre el partido y discutir sobre ello
- Sea justo con los otros
- no hagas comentarios racistas

I think its 50/50. Spain was traded before the tournament as the strongest team, but Germany is the strongest team in the tournament so far. Two teams at the same level

Cacau couldn't train because of back problems. Marin is a better substitute player than a player for the starting lineup.

In this game it is important to dominate the midfield. I think this is not possible with players lika cacao or marin, who don´t do anything in defence...

and what do you think about the other semifinal?

Cacau has still problems with his pectoral muscle. Marin is more effective as a substitute and plays on the left (Podolski).

It is very likely that Trochowkski will play but many of us would prefer Kroos because he has a better technique and is capable to shoot good set pieces.

I dont think that Löw nominates one of them. I would prefer Kroos or Marin aswell, but our coach has a very special attitude - im sure that Trochowski will play!
But im fine with that, as long as Low is successfull...

In Spain Puyol was retired in the Last match because he had problems in the eye

But he train with normality and will play in the match

I think that this will never happen. I'm really sorry for Cesc, but it's propably impossible to win a fight against the dreamteam of Barca and Spain. The two know each other perfect and fix together perfectly.
And four offensive midfielders (if you count Villa as one) are really to much. The only possibility would be Cesc for Torres, but then Villa would have to play the only striker and this isn't the role he is perfect for. And also I think that Del Bosque still believes that Torres will reach the form, which he had before his injury.
